A Strange King

Once upon a time there lived a very happy family. In this happy family there were mother, father and two daughters. This family lived in France. Mother and father had worked hard all their life and they were still happy. One day when father was working in the field he heard screaming. He took his spade and ran towards the sound. Suddenly he saw a princess who was in trouble. Two big bears had surrounded her. They wanted to eat the princess. The father was thinking for a minute and then he ran towards the bears, shouting loudly. The bears ran away and the princess thanked the father. She asked him to come with her into the castle. He went and in the castle the princess told to her father, the king, what had happened. The king was very impressed and for reward he gave the father the half of his kingdom. At first, father didn´t believe him, but when the king asked him to sign the papers, he understood, what had just happened. He thanked the king and went home. He told that story to his family, but nobody believed him. They thought that he was suffering from nervous breakdown. Even when he showed the papers, which he had signed, still nobody believed him. They thought that he went crazy and they called the doctor. Even the doctor didn´t believe him and he recommended to put him into a cave and never let him out. Although the family thought that that he was crazy, they still loved him and they didnt´t do what the doctor had recommended.

The man was very unhappy and because of that he went back to the castle and told to the king what had happened. He said that he didn´t want the half of the kingdom. He just wanted his old life back. The king couldn´t believe his ears, but he did as the man wanted. He took the half of the kingdom back again. But he wanted to give something to the man too so he said:"I´ll give you my lucky horse. Take it and don´t give it back. If you come back, i will order you to be killed." The man did the way the king had ordered and never game into the castle again. And when the man and the king´s lucky horse aren´t dead yet, they are living happily ever after.

The End.
