Good Friendship.

Once upon a time there lived a rabbit, a bear and a fox. The rabbit and the bear were the best friends. The fox felt very lonely because he didn't have any good friends. He also wanted a big and good friend like the bear. One quiet evening the bear and the rabbit decided to go hiking. They wanted to hike through the forest. When the fox had heard about it, he became very jealous because he wanted to go hiking with bear himself instead of the rabbit. He decided to do something about it.
The fox visited his grandfather and asked for some good advise. His grandfather told him to sneak behind the rabbit's burrow and put the magic carrots there, which his grandfather had given him. When the fox had done that, he also put a little note there, which said: " Delicious carrots for my best friend, bear!"
Next morning, when the rabbit had to go hiking with the bear, he ate those magic carrots and fell asleep for 3 days. At the same time the clever fox went to the bear's home and told him: "Hallo, bear! Rabbit is sick a little and won't come hiking with you. He asked me to come with you, if it's ok? By the way, he won't want anybody to bother him!" The bear thought for a while and agreed, although he was worried about the rabbit. When the fox and the bear were back from hiking, the bear didn't know anything about the rabbit and dicided to visit him. The fox tried to stop him, but it didn't work. For a while the bear found the rabbit in front of his burrow's door and he was sleeping there. The rabbit woke up 2 days later and thanked the bear for delicious carrots. The bear didn't understand what he was talking about and then the fox confessed his evildoing. At first the rabbit and the bear were angry with him, but later they were glad that the fox was brave enough to confess his mistake. From that time on they have done everything together and the fox is very happy because now he has 2 best friends.

The moral of this story: Be honest and your life will be better.
